Buy and sell on the Supplier Market
The Supplier Market is a public directory of suppliers and their products. Suppliers publish a profile and listings after review; buyers compare offers and request an order. Once both sides agree, the buyer gets one purchase order and the supplier can import the order into Trade.
Before you start
- Your account must be verified. Use an account with access to the whole workspace.
- Listings are free. Linking an order to a purchase order or a Trade order needs Trade & Wholesale switched on.
- You need View supplier workspace, and Manage supplier listings and orders to publish or act on orders.
Steps: publish as a supplier
- Open Supplier Market (the Supplier workspace).
- Fill in the Supplier profile: Name, Description, Country, City, Phone, E-mail and Website. Tick the box agreeing to publish these details, and select Save. The profile waits as Awaiting review.
- Select Add or edit a listing. Type the Name, Product brand, Product barcode (GTIN), Category and Base unit.
- Type the Unit price per base unit without tax, the Units per pack, Minimum order quantity, Tax rate in basis points (500 = 5%), Delivery fee, Lead time in days, Availability, Price valid until and your Supply and payment terms. Tick the consent box and select Save.
- When a buyer requests an order, open it and choose Accept submission, Propose new terms or Reject.
- After the buyer's purchase order exists, select Import into Trade to approve and ship it as a Trade order, and Mark dispatched with a tracking reference.

Good to know
- Every profile or listing edit needs review again. Withdrawing, suspension, expiry, losing e-mail verification or deleting the account stops publication at once.
- Review is not a check of a supplier's identity, stock or delivery.
- Buyer and supplier agree and settle payment and delivery directly. The market takes no payment and no fee.
- Search reads 100 directory records per page before filtering, so a filtered page can be empty while the next page has results; select More.
- Receiving happens on the purchase order and is not copied back to the market request.
- Submitting a request shares your business contact and delivery address with that supplier only.
