Warehouses
Warehouses adds stock locations to each branch: a back store, a central warehouse, a van or consignment stock at a supplier. You move goods between them by scanning, follow transfers until the other end receives them, count one location at a time, and find any batch or serial number in seconds.
It is for organisations whose goods sit in more than one place: the stock keeper, the people who pick, send and receive, and the manager who approves counts and settles differences. Warehouses builds on Inventory and works with Procurement and Trade, which can receive into or ship from a chosen location.
Start with Set up stock locations.
- Set up stock locationsSwitch Warehouses on, add back stores, a central warehouse, vans or consignment stock, and receive goods straight into a location.
- Send a transfer in transitRequest, pick by scanning, dispatch and receive goods between locations and branches, then settle short, damaged or extra units.
- Run a blind cycle countCount one location, one category or one shelf without seeing the expected figures, then have a manager approve the difference.
- Refill locations and see stock valueSet a min and max per product and location, ask the source location to refill what runs low, and see each location's stock value at cost.
- Find a batch or serial numberTrack batches and serial numbers across every location, find where a batch is for a recall, and see the deliveries it came in.
