Ask AI a business question

This feature is in early access: it is built and tested, but not yet switched on for every organisation or not yet tried with the outside provider. Ask us on WhatsApp if you would like to try it.

Ask answers recognised questions with fixed rules and no AI. Free-text AI questions need owner activation, data-sharing consent, available AI credits or a supported provider key, and the feature’s existing permissions and daily limits. See credits and consent.

1. Open Owner workspace → Insights → Ask.
2. Enter your question and choose Ask.
3. Read the answer and Based on references. Open source reports and verify important figures before acting.

The AI uses read-only tools scoped to the asking person’s permissions and branches. It does not change data. Questions understood by ordinary rules are not sent to the model.

The owner checks the AI credit balance and the credits held for running requests on Billing → AI credits. Existing daily and request-rate limits apply in addition to the credits. Reaching a limit can prevent a response; cached results do not need a new model request.

Questions and necessary report data may be sent to the selected provider. Handling and retention follow the linked terms; there is no universal no-training or no-retention promise. Turning AI off in Settings → AI blocks future requests, including your own-key requests, without recalling those already sent. Review every answer before making a decision.
