Connect your social accounts

This feature is in early access: it is built and tested, but not yet switched on for every organisation or not yet tried with the outside provider. Ask us on WhatsApp if you would like to try it.

You connect each account with the platform's own sign-in: you grant access on Facebook or LinkedIn, and Kluvan keeps that access sealed. Kluvan never sees your password.

Important. This part is in early access. Connecting needs Kluvan's approval by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn, which takes weeks and has not been granted yet. Until then the buttons show not set up yet and no account can be connected.

Before you start

• You need the right Connect social accounts and change Social settings.
• You must be an admin of the Facebook Page or the LinkedIn Page. An Instagram account must be a professional account linked to a Facebook Page.

Steps

1. Open Social → Accounts.
2. Under Connect an account, select Facebook and Instagram or LinkedIn Page.
3. Sign in on the platform and grant the access it asks for.
4. Back in Kluvan, under Choose what to connect, tick the Pages and accounts you want. Instagram professional accounts appear under their Facebook Page.
5. Select Connect. The message Connected. appears and the accounts are listed.
6. For each account, pick the language its posts are written in under Posts are written in and select Save.

Keep accounts healthy

• Check now tests the connection. The connection works. means all is well.
• When a platform refuses the access (a changed password, removed access, an expired sign-in), the account shows Sign in again. Posts to it and replies wait. The owner and the account manager get one alert on Today; select Sign in again to fix it.
• Disconnect stops publishing and replies at once.

Good to know

• One Page, one organisation. A Page another Kluvan organisation already uses is left out, with the message Connected, except Pages another organisation already uses.
• What each account brings: Facebook and Instagram bring comments and messages; a LinkedIn Page brings comments only. The accounts list shows Comments and messages to the Inbox or Comments to the Inbox.
• LinkedIn sign-ins last 60 days and are renewed before they end.
• Nothing found? No Page or account you manage was found on the platform. means the person who signed in is not an admin of any Page.
