Write a post in your languages

This feature is in early access: it is built and tested, but not yet switched on for every organisation or not yet tried with the outside provider. Ask us on WhatsApp if you would like to try it.

One post can carry a text in several languages. Each account gets the text in its own language, so your Arabic Page and your English Page receive the right words from the same post.

Important. Social is in early access: posts go out only to connected accounts, and connecting needs Kluvan's approval by Meta and LinkedIn, not granted yet.

Before you start

• You need the right Write social posts and send them for approval.
• Pictures come from Documents: upload them there first (JPEG or PNG).

Steps

1. Open Social and select New post, or choose New → Social post.
2. Type a Title (only for your team), for example "Weekend offer". Followers never see it.
3. Pick the Language and type the Text. The count under the box shows the characters.
4. To add another language, pick it under Add a language and select Save draft; a new text box appears. Arabic and Urdu are typed right to left.
5. Under Where it goes, tick the accounts. A warning badge on an account tells you what does not fit it.
6. Under Pictures, pick one or more under Add pictures from Documents.
7. Leave Publish at empty for now, or pick a time. See Schedule, approve and publish a post.
8. Select Save draft.
9. Check the Preview of each account.

Which text each account gets

The account's own language first (set in Social → Accounts), then the same language family (Egyptian Arabic for Arabic), then the organisation's default language, then the first text you wrote.

Good to know

• Platform checks before sending: a text too long for a platform, more than 30 hashtags, too many pictures, or a picture type the platform does not take.
• Instagram needs at least one picture and takes JPEG only.
• Pictures are at most 8 MB each. You can pick only documents you are allowed to open.
• Up to 7 languages in one post.
• No video, Reels or Stories.
• Duplicate makes a draft copy of any post, to reuse it.
• Without Documents, the page says pictures cannot be added.
