Send an e-mail campaign
A campaign is one message to a segment. It goes only to customers who agreed to e-mail, a few at a time, never in the quiet hours.
Before you start
- You need Change the CRM: tags, notes, consent, segments, campaigns, deals to write the draft, and Send campaigns and switch flows on to test and start it.
- Save the segment first. See build a segment.
- Check the pace in Settings → CRM settings. See set up the CRM.
Steps
- Open CRM → Campaigns.
- In New campaign, type a Name.
- Under Channel, pick E-mail.
- Under Segment, pick your segment, or All customers.
- Type the Subject.
- Write the Message. You can use
{name},{points},{stamps},{balance},{coupon},{shop}and{link}. - Optional: add an Offer link and a Coupon code.
- Select Create the draft. The campaign page opens.
- Select Preview. Read who it reaches, how many did not agree or have no e-mail, how the first customer will read it, and how many days the pace needs.
- Select Send a test to me. The test goes to your own e-mail, never to a customer.
- Optional: fill in Start at (optional) to schedule it.
- Select Start.

Good to know
- The audience is fixed when you start. One message is queued for each customer who agreed and can be reached, up to 20,000. Starting twice starts nothing.
- Pause, Resume, Cancel the campaign: cancelling stops what is still waiting; what was sent stays sent.
- Unsubscribe: every campaign e-mail carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom and an unsubscribe header that mail programs show as a button. The customer's no is recorded at once. See record a customer's consent.
- E-mail health guard: addresses that bounced, marked your mail as spam, or were never confirmed are skipped. The results show why (e-mail bounced, marked as spam, e-mail not confirmed).
- Pace: messages share the day's limit with every other campaign and flow, and none goes in the quiet hours or over a customer's monthly limit.
- Links:
{link}becomes a tracked link. It carries no name, phone or customer number. - A placeholder the CRM does not know is refused before you can save.
- SMS cannot be chosen: it shows coming soon.
- WhatsApp campaigns are in early access. See WhatsApp campaigns.
- Next: read a campaign's results.
