See what needs your attention

Needs attention is one list of everything in your apps that needs someone now. Each item says what it is about, what happens if it is ignored, when it is due, who has it and how much money is at stake.

Before you start

  • The Owner workspace comes with every plan; there is nothing to switch on.
  • Items come from the apps your organisation uses and you may open. An app that is off raises nothing.

Steps

  1. Select Owner workspace on the left (the star), or press G then W. Needs attention opens.
  2. A manager or the owner picks Organisation (everything) or Mine (only items given to them) at the top.
  3. Use the chips to narrow the list: All, Money, Customers, Work, People, Compliance & systems, each with its count.
  4. Read each item: its title, the line under it (what happens if it is ignored), due and days late, with whom it sits, the severity (Urgent, Soon or Later) and the amount.
  5. Select Open to go straight to the record, or select the title to open the item in the side panel (see act on an attention item).

What appears in the list

GroupExamples
MoneyMoney about to pass the oldest age (Collections, or Books while Collections is off), missed promises, disputes past their day, bank lines unmatched for more than 3 days, invoices never sent, bills due within 7 days
CustomersInbox conversations nobody took, replies past their deadline, Desk tickets past their service level, CRM leads with no owner
WorkProjects late, over budget or losing money; field jobs late or finished but not invoiced; approvals waiting for you
PeopleEmployee and company papers expiring (HR)
Compliance & systemsDocuments and agreement notice dates coming, the VAT return due, e-invoices rejected, connections failing or needing sign-in

Good to know

  • Refreshed every 5 minutes. Items appear when their condition starts and close by themselves when the records change, for example when the invoice is paid.
  • The VAT return's due day follows your country: in the UAE 28 days after the period ends, in Egypt the end of the following month, elsewhere 28 days after the period ends. The item shows from 14 days before, until the return is saved.
  • Totals per currency. Amounts are never added across currencies.
  • Also on Today and on records. The same items show on Today, once, and in the Linked block of a customer, project or invoice.
  • A long list shows the top items first; narrow it with a group to see the rest.
  • Who sees what, and who sees amounts: see who sees which items.
  • Related: key figures, daily brief.
