Read the subscriptions report and alerts
The subscriptions report tells you how much recurring revenue you have, how many subscribers you keep, and what is coming in next. Alerts tell you when unpaid invoices or cancellations go above a level you choose.
Before you start
- You need the See subscriptions, plans and their money right. Setting the alerts needs a manager.
Steps
See the figures
- Open Subscriptions.
- Read the tiles: Monthly revenue (MRR), Yearly revenue (ARR), Subscribers (with how many are on trial and paused) and Past due (how many, and how much).
- For the full report, select Excel or CSV at the top of the page.

Set the alerts (manager)
- Open Settings → Subscriptions and go to Owner alerts.
- Type an amount in Alert when past due is above.
- Type a percentage in Alert when churn is above (%).
- Select Save.
Good to know
- What the full report holds: MRR and ARR; how many subscriptions are live, on trial, past due, paused and suspended; churn over the last 30 days; subscribers and MRR per plan; the bills due in the next 30 days; past-due ageing; and every subscription.
- How MRR is worked out. Every plan is turned into a monthly figure: a weekly price × 52 ÷ 12, a quarterly price ÷ 3, a yearly price ÷ 12, and every N days × 365 ÷ (12 × N). ARR is MRR × 12.
- Churn is the subscriptions cancelled in the last 30 days, divided by the live subscriptions 30 days ago.
- When alerts come. The past-due alert comes at most once a day, when the invoices owed beyond the grace days add up to more than your amount. The churn alert comes at most once a week, and only when you had at least five subscribers 30 days ago. They arrive through your owner alerts, which must be switched on.
- Ask. You can also type "how are my subscriptions" in Ask to get subscribers, MRR and ARR, figures per plan, past due, the next seven days' bills and churn.
- The report is in the language you use Kluvan in, and every export is written to the audit log.
