Read the quality reports

The quality reports answer two questions: what is still open and for how long, and what keeps failing. Use them in your weekly quality meeting.

Before you start

  • You need Manage templates, non-conformances and actions.

Steps

  1. Open Quality → Quality reports.
  2. Read the tiles: Inspections this month over the window, the Pass rate with how many failed, and Open non-conformances.
  3. Under Open non-conformances by age, read the rows 0–7 days, 8–30 days, 31–90 days and Over 90 days, by Minor, Major and Critical, with the Total.
  4. Under Repeat failures by template, see the templates that failed at least twice.
  5. Under Repeat failures by record (equipment, delivery, job …), see the records that failed at least twice.
  6. Under Repeat failures by supplier, see the suppliers whose deliveries failed at least twice.
  7. Select a line to open the failed inspections behind it.

Good to know

  • Repeat failure means failed two times or more in the window. When nothing failed twice, the list says Nothing failed twice in the window.
  • The overview on Quality shows this month's inspections and pass rate, open and overdue non-conformances, and actions to do and to verify.
  • Lists by record. A record's Linked block opens its inspections and non-conformances, filtered.
  • Supplier detail is on Quality → Supplier quality. See Follow supplier quality.
  • Related: Handle a non-conformance.
