Record the checklist, photos and materials
The job sheet keeps what you did on site: the checklist with its readings, the photos, and the materials you used. The office reviews all of it before the job is billed.
Before you start
- The job must be yours and in progress or scheduled. See Do a job on your phone.
- The checklist comes from the template the office chose for the job.
Steps
To fill in the checklist:
- Scroll to Checklist. The count on the right shows how many items are done.
- For a tick item, select Mark done. It turns into Done; select it again to undo.
- For a reading, type the value next to its unit and select Save.
- For an item tagged Photo, select Take photo and take the picture.
To add photos:
- In Photos, type a Caption if you want one.
- Select Add photo, then take a picture or pick one from the phone.
To record materials:
- In Materials used, select Add material.
- Under Material, pick the part from Planned for this job or In my van, or choose Other (type it below) and type a Description.
- Type the Quantity and, if the part has one, the Serial.
- Select Add material. The line shows Checked when your van holds enough, or Not enough stock.

Good to know
- Items tagged Required must be done before Finish job. The finish button says how many are still open.
- Photos are shrunk on the phone before they are sent, and stored once: sending the same picture twice keeps one copy. They are kept in your organisation's files and count towards its storage allowance. Up to 40 photos per job.
- A material is only checked against your van when you add it. It leaves stock when the office approves the job, at its cost on that day, not before. Until then you can remove your own line with ✕.
- If you have no van, materials are checked against the branch's stock.
- There is no barcode scan for materials: pick the part from the list.
- Up to 60 checklist items and 60 material lines per job.
- A part the customer pays for on top of the quote is a billable extra, not only a material: see Add billable extras and change orders. Recording it as an extra part also records the material.
- What the office sees: Review finished jobs.
