Field jobs
Field jobs is for businesses that fix, install or maintain things at their customers' sites: air-conditioning and appliance technicians, IT support, workshops and facility teams. The office keeps each customer's equipment, writes work orders with a quote, gets the customer's approval and plans the visit. Technicians open My jobs on their phone, tap through the visit, fill in the checklist, add photos, materials and billable extras, and record the customer's acceptance. The office then reviews each finished job, approves it for billing, invoices it and sees what the job really earned.
The work orders, equipment and maintenance plans are the Services & Maintenance records (the menu shows them under Field jobs → Records). Office staff and supervisors work with the manage and billing rights; technicians usually hold a field seat and see only the jobs they are on. Field jobs takes parts from Inventory and van stock from Warehouses, posts invoices to Books when Books is on, uses Projects' cost rates and links jobs to projects, and lets customers approve estimates in the customer portal. It is part of the Service Business bundle and Kluvan One: see Plans and bundles.
