Rename statuses and add your own
Each app has standard statuses, such as a work order's Scheduled or Completed. In Studio you can give them your own names, put them in your order, and add statuses of your own, for example "Waiting for parts". Reports and workflows follow each status's category, never its name, so renaming never breaks them.
Before you start
- You need the right Manage Studio (fields, layouts, statuses, rules, templates).
Steps
- Open Studio → Statuses.
- Pick the record: Leads and deals, Projects, Work orders, Tickets, Agreements or Collection cases.
- To rename a status, type the new Label in English, Label in Arabic and Label in Urdu.
- To reorder, change the numbers in Order.
- To add a status, fill in Add a status: the English and Arabic labels, the Category (Open, Won, Lost, Done or Cancelled) and which standard status it behaves as.
- To remove one of your own statuses, tick Remove and choose under Move its records to… the status its records should show instead.
- Select Save draft, then Publish in the bar at the top.

Good to know
- Standard statuses can be renamed and reordered, but never removed and never moved to another category.
- Your own status refines a standard one: "Waiting for parts" behaves as In progress, so the app's steps (start, complete, invoice) work as before.
- Removing a status in use needs a status for its records. Records are not rewritten: they show the new status from then on.
- Where the names show. A record's renamed or custom status shows in its More details block as Status:. The apps' own lists and buttons still use their standard names.
- Setting a record to one of your own statuses is done through Kluvan's API; the record pages have no control for it.
- Up to 20 statuses per record type.
