Check your integrations and send again

Integrations shows every connection to another system (an accounting program, an e-invoicing or e-commerce service) in one place: whether it works, what is waiting, what failed and what needs signing in again.

Before you start

  • You need the right The integrations page (retry, mark handled); managers hold it.
  • Connections are set up in Settings → Connections (see connections).

Steps

  1. Open Workflows → Integrations.
  2. Read each connection's state: Working, Failing, Sign in again, Setting up or Off, then the line with the last success, how many wait, how many were sent, and the last error.
  3. If it says Sign in again, select Sign in again and reconnect in Settings → Connections.
  4. Under a failing connection, read the table of documents that could not be sent: the Document, the Tries and the Error.
  5. Fix the cause if you can (for example a missing account code in the other system).
  6. Select Send again on a document, or Send them all again.
  7. If you sent a document by hand instead, type How it was handled (required) and select Mark handled.
  8. Open Handled by hand to see who handled what, when and why.

Good to know

  • Never a second document. Send again first asks the other system whether the document already arrived, so a send whose answer was lost is not sent twice.
  • Handled stays handled. A document marked handled leaves the list and is never sent again by itself.
  • Told once. A new failure or a needed sign-in raises one item on Today and one notice for the people who manage integrations; it clears by itself when the connection is healthy again.
  • What is listed. Only connections that run through Settings → Connections appear here.
