Follow up form submissions
Every message sent from a form on your site is listed in Sites, newest first, whether or not CRM and the Inbox are on. From each one you jump to the lead, the conversation and the customer it became.
Before you start
- You need the right Edit the website and read its form submissions.
Steps
- Open Sites → Form submissions. The Website page also shows the latest ones; select See all to open the list.
- Read the columns: When, Name with the start of the message, Contact, Page, Source (the campaign or the site the visitor came from) and Became (Lead and Conversation links).
- Select the date of a message to open it.
- Read the Page and the form's kind, the E-mail, Phone, Company and Message.
- Check Consent and News and offers: yes or no for each.
- Check the campaign lines (such as
utm_sourceandutm_campaign) and Came from. - Select Open the lead to move the deal on in CRM, Open the conversation to answer in the Inbox, or Open the customer to see their record.

Good to know
- Today shows how many new website form messages arrived since you last looked, with the latest one.
- On a customer's record, the Linked tab has a Website enquiries group with the messages that customer sent.
- Answer from the Inbox. When the visitor gave an e-mail address, the conversation is an e-mail one and your reply reaches them by e-mail. With only a phone number, the conversation is internal: call or message them yourself.
- Without CRM and the Inbox the page says CRM and the Inbox are not on: submissions are kept here under Form submissions. Messages are never lost; switch the apps on to turn new ones into leads and conversations.
- Related: build a landing page with a form and take over a conversation.
